Well, i'm usually an out of date person and yes, I just saw Transformers yesterday...
I'm not a huge fan of robots and any other guy toys... but it did reveal a message...
The end is near....
No, we're not going to be attacked by robots... but we are going to engage war...
This is going to be the worst world war 3 ever going to happen, and being a person who hates gore, I don't know if I'll be able to stand it...
From the plot of the movie, it's about these alien robots who engage into war because of this cube which made them power hungry. Some became decepticons or otherwise known as the bad guys headed by Megatron... the good guys were the Autobots and they were headed by Optimus Prime...(loved the colors of this robot by the way)
So, they engage war in Earth, causing damage to the planet and the earthlings with whom the Decepticons have no concern for. They cared about power and hacking into the world's computer system to get more Decepticons.
The Autobots come to the rescue and try to destroy this cube which these Decepticons are so hungry for. Later, Sam pushes it into the chest of Megatron and Hurrah! He dies! The Autobots owe their life to Sam and thus, ends the story.
It's a nice plot, what do you expect from Spielberg?
However, if I were to relate it to the World War 3 that's going to happen later...
It's going to be between God's army (the Autobos) and Satan's followers (Decepticons)... Quite a coincidential analogy, but I believe it could serve as a warning to be more aware that the prince of this world and the world's glory is all going to fade, and in the end, God's glory prevails...
I pray we, all of us, and myself, will be ready for this coming glory!
